Group/Centre-Based Activities

Going to group programs is an inviting and highly social way to learn and develop skills, meet new individuals and keep associated with the community. Exercises are created according to participants’ interests and incorporate an expansive scope of physical activities such as gym, recreational center, dance, and combative techniques; workmanship and art classes; day and night trips, and more. Properly structured, group activities can strengthen aptitudes that are applicable to both group and individual work, including the ability to:
  • Challenge assumptions
  • Plan and manage time
  • Give and receive feedback on performance
  • Break complex tasks into parts and steps
  • Develop stronger communication skills.
  • Refine understanding through discussion and explanation
